Important Prescription Benefit Change
Effective January 1, 2010
Effective January 1, 2010 your prescription benefits will no longer be managed by CVS/Caremark but instead by Express Scripts. This decision was made by the NOITU Insurance Fund Board of Trustees after an exhaustive study was performed. As a result of this research, Express Scripts was found to be a company that promises to serve you and your eligible dependents in a more efficient, cost-effective manner than ever before.
IMPORTANT: PLEASE UNDERSTAND - YOUR PRESCRIPTION BENEFITS HAVE NOT
CHANGED - JUST THE NAME OF THE DRUG CARD COMPANY
Please be advised that you must continue to use your present prescription ID card until December 31, 2009.
If you don't receive your NEW PRESCRIPTION IDENTIFICATION CARD by the last week of December 2009 then you must contact the NOITU Insurance Trust Fund Member Services Department immediately at (718) 291-3434 so there will be no interruption in your coverage.
Please note that this information pertains only to those participants who are presently eligible for prescription benefits or will be eligible for prescription benefits at January 1, 2010.
